Some ground rules.

These are set and enforced by the merping.synth.download moderators.

1. no nazism, racism, antisemitism, queerphobia of any type, bigotry of any kind or personal harassment.
   any type of hate speech is not allowed.
2. pedophilia, zoophilia and "radqueers" are not allowed.
   this also includes any references/usage of fictional counterparts, such as lolicon/shota and cub pornography.
3. properly use content warnings when posting. be considerate for others, add a properly labeled content warning to posts as needed.
   required for content such as general NSFW content and politics. • reclaimed slurs may be used without a content warning, as long as you know and respect your own space. • if unsure when to apply content warnings, consider: "would this make others possibly uncomfortable" and "would this make those uncomfortable in a public area".
4. respect one's own and others' right to privacy, opinions, and boundaries - especially boundaries.
   make an effort to ensure personal comfort zones aren't being overstepped if needed.
5. we encourage adding alt text onto publicly posted media.
   not a required rule, but we recommend it.
6. to boil it all down: just use common sense.
   treat this as a fun space, and others as one would want to be treated.
7. ℹ️ when registering: please link to any other websites, social media, or accounts.
   this helps the approval process go by faster! requests that are impossible to identify will be rejected!
